Best answer: C. C connects the action to enforceable authority and a record of what happened. A verified connection is not permission to spend, and a prompt is not a dependable spending control. Requiring approval for every harmless lookup would add friction without distinguishing exploration from commitment. The important boundary is the point at which the system creates an obligation.

Review the boundary you missed

After a test, sort uncertain answers by what crossed a boundary: information, identity, authority, money, or operating responsibility. For each one, explain the permitted action and the evidence that would confirm its result. That review is more useful than learning a protocol name in isolation.
